Jean TITECA Hospital
Taking into account the specific constraints associated with fitting out a psychiatric environment, Centre Hospitalier Jean TITECA, we carefully selected robust, durable furniture capable of withstanding intensive use while guaranteeing user safety. We also paid particular attention to the overall ambience of the space, ensuring a soothing and relaxing environment. To achieve this, we opted for soft tones and natural materials, avoiding overly bright, garish colors that could disrupt patients' well-being.
We also carried out a complete overhaul, including flooring, updating the electrical installation with new light fittings, and creating bespoke joinery and screens to improve the acoustics of the space. The kitchen was entirely custom-designed, optimized for meal times and culinary workshops, with a central island designed to bring participants together. All these elements were designed to meet the specific requirements of a psychiatric environment, with furniture carefully chosen to be not only robust, but also easy to maintain, thus meeting the specific demands of the hospital environment.
