"When design and sustainability play as a team."
A look back at our Bedimo x Sedus afterwork at Tero Padel Club.
On Wednesday April 24, at the Tero Padel Club in Waterloo, we gathered our community around a theme that's close to our hearts: sustainable office design.
A moment of sport, conviviality and exchange.
Padel matches in the background, but above all, lively discussions on how we can work together to design more responsible, more ergonomic, more human workspaces.
A meaningful collaboration
At Bedimo, we look for projects and partners aligned with our vision.
Sedus is a perfect fit. This manufacturer of professional furniture has been developing elegant, functional and eco-responsible design for many years.
Their "Sedustainable" approach is a natural fit with our programme. Bedimo Circularprogram, which aims to offer concrete solutions for sustainable office design: reconditioned furniture, local sourcing, measurable actions.
At this event, Sedus shared an inspiring project: the furnishing of the offices of the organizing committee of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Result: 5,000 m² of furniture reused, resold or donated to give them a second life. A perfect illustration of what sustainable office design can be, on a large scale.
Furniture as a starting point
The Sedus pieces on display illustrated our shared ambition to combine design, ergonomics and circularity.
Furniture designed to last, meeting today's aesthetic and functional requirements while anticipating tomorrow's challenges.
Design, reflections and relaxed exchanges
The event was built on a simple format:
inspiring exchanges on sustainable entrepreneurship, concrete feedback and shared reflections on the meaning we give to our projects.
And because bonding also means getting out of the box, the racket was never far away.
What it says about our vision for Bedimo
This afterwork was not just a moment of relaxation.
It reflected what we stand for every day:
- sustainable, meaningful office design,
- collaborations built on shared values,
- concrete actions for a more responsible future.
With our program Bedimo Circularprogram, we integrate reconditioned furniture, work with local suppliers and measure our actions via an annual carbon footprint.
We don't aim for perfection. We move forward with consistency.
What next?
This kind of moment doesn't end once the doors close. It leaves behind energy, ideas and desires.
Want to continue organizing these moments where design meets people.
Want to forge ever closer links with those who believe in a different way of designing workplaces.
Want to think of spaces that are alive, aligned and responsible.
And above all, the desire to do it together.
